Overview, features and application details
Adobe's free scanner turns your camera into a PDF machine with sharp auto-crop and text you can actually search.
Point your camera at a document and Adobe Scan does the rest: it finds the edges, straightens the page, cleans up the lighting, and saves a crisp PDF. Receipts, whiteboards, business cards, multi-page contracts — it handles all of them, and the built-in text recognition means you can search inside your scans later. You can also pull text out of a photo and paste it elsewhere, which saves a lot of retyping. Scans sync to Adobe's cloud so they're on every device you own. It's free, it's from Adobe, and it's the scanner most people compare everything else to.
