Overview, features and application details
A free chromatic tuner and metronome for musicians. Tunes any instrument — guitar, violin, flute — and keeps time with sound, flash, or vibration.
Soundcorset's Tuner & Metronome is the free app working musicians actually keep on their phones. The tuner runs two modes — a chromatic tuner that measures pitch and intensity, and a pitch-fork mode — with a customizable A4 reference (440 Hz by default). The metronome is precise and never lags beats.
Practice is where it shines. The metronome can click, flash your camera light, or vibrate — perfect when it's too loud to hear clicks. Record your playing with the one-touch recorder, upload your own sheet music to practice along with, and browse 4,000+ free sheet music pieces built into the app.
It covers every instrument: guitar, piano, violin, cello, ukulele, flute, drums, plus transposed instruments like B-flat clarinet and E-flat sax. Scales practice, BPM detection, and a practice time tracker round out the toolkit.
Free to download with in-app purchases, at 49 MB. Designed by musicians, it's fast and simple — big buttons, no hunting through menus mid-rehearsal.
