About this app
Overview, features and application details
A pocket modular synthesizer and tracker from NightRadio. Tiny at 19 MB, deep enough for real music — and completely free.
SunVox is a music studio shrunk to 19 MB. Built by NightRadio's Alexander Zolotov, it's a modular synthesizer where you wire up generators, filters, and effects yourself, then sequence everything in a tracker-style timeline. It looks technical because it is — and that's exactly why musicians love it.
Despite the size, nothing here is watered down. You get a full palette of synths and effects to connect however you like, and the tracker interface gives you precise control over every note. It rewards curiosity: spend a weekend with it and you'll have real tracks.
It's for electronic musicians, chiptune fans, and anyone who finds DAWs bloated. Tracker veterans will feel at home instantly; newcomers get a surprisingly fun way to learn how synthesis actually works.
SunVox is free, works offline, and has been around for years on phones, PCs, and stranger devices alike. If you want a music app with zero fluff and serious depth, start here.
