Overview, features and application details
You're an FDI "Operator" at a computer console, solving murders and cyberattacks through databases, CCTV, and evidence analysis. Try-before-you-buy.
The Operator puts you behind a desk — and that's the whole game. You're an "Operator" for the fictional FDI, a field agent's lifeline back at headquarters. Everything happens on your computer screen: you search databases, pull up CCTV footage, analyze evidence photos, run chemical scans, and cross-reference documents.
The cases range from murders and missing persons to cyberattacks and conspiracies. Field agents call you, witnesses send tips, and you piece the truth together through pure information work. No gunfights, no chases — just you, a terminal, and a growing pile of clues.
This is the mobile port of the 2024 PC hit from Bureau 81, which earned a cult following for making desk work feel tense. The phone version arrived in October 2026 with the interface adapted for touch.
It runs on a try-before-you-buy model, so you can play the opening cases and decide if the slow-burn detective work hooks you before paying for the rest.
