About this app
Overview, features and application details
The King of Fighters as an idle RPG. Netmarble brings Terry, Kyo, Mai and the rest to mobile — collect fighters, build teams, and progress while you're away.
It's exactly what the name says: King of Fighters, but idle. You collect fighters from the series' huge roster — Terry Bogard, Kyo Kusanagi, Mai Shiranui, and dozens more — build your team, and they fight for you even when the app is closed.
Netmarble launched it globally in September 2025, and it's clearly made for KOF fans. The fighters look right, the special moves hit right, and there's real nostalgia in seeing your favorites in a new genre.
Like any idle RPG, the loop is: collect, upgrade, team-build, repeat. The strategy is in which fighters you invest in and how you synergize their abilities. Come back each day to stronger progress than you left.
It's a chunky 822 MB download, but that's the price of a Netmarble production. If you grew up on KOF, this is an easy yes.
