About this app
Overview, features and application details
A tiny, free note app with Markdown support, notebooks, tags, and Nextcloud sync — no ads, no account, and your notes never leave your device.
Quillpad is what a note app should be: small, fast, and yours. It started as a fork of Quillnote and kept the best parts — Markdown notes, task lists, reminders, notebooks, and tags — while staying completely free and open source.
Write a note, tag it, file it in a notebook, pin the important ones to the top. You can hide sensitive notes, attach voice recordings and files, and back everything up to a zip file you keep yourself. If you use Nextcloud, your notes sync across devices with no middleman.
There's no account to create, no ads, no tracking, and the app never uploads anything on its own. At around 5 MB it's one of the lightest note apps on Play, and it feels it — opens instantly, never lags, just notes.
