About this app
Overview, features and application details
Google Photos backs up every photo and video you take, then lets you find any of them by searching "beach" or "birthday" — plus shared albums and surprisingly good automatic edits.
Google Photos is where your camera roll goes to live forever. Turn on backup and every photo and video uploads automatically, safe from broken screens and lost phones. Then the magic starts: search for "beach," "birthday," or your dog's name and it finds the pictures — no manual albums or tags required.
It organizes itself in ways that feel almost unfair. Face grouping clusters photos of the same people, Memories resurfaces highlights from years past, and the assistant stitches together collages and animations from your shots without being asked. Shared albums let the whole family dump wedding or trip photos in one place, and the built-in editor handles crops, filters, and adjustments well enough that many people never open another editing app. Freeing up device space is one tap once backup is confirmed.
Why grab the APK here? Devices without Google apps, Play Store access problems in some regions, or a simple preference for manual verified installs. The file below is the official Photos build (package com.google.android.apps.photos, published by Google LLC) — install it, sign in, and your library syncs over.
App details: developer Google LLC, category Photography. Free to download; backups count toward your Google account storage.
