About this app
Overview, features and application details
A sleep-sounds app with 19 nature and noise tracks plus a smart timer that detects when you've fallen asleep and fades the audio out on its own.
DeepCalm's hook is the timer. Regular timers just cut off after 45 minutes whether you're asleep or not. This one watches your movement through the phone on your bed and fades the sound down once you actually drift off.
The library itself is compact: 19 sounds covering rain, thunder, ocean, wind, crickets, campfire, a night train, fan hum, and the usual white, pink and brown noises. You can layer up to four and set each one's volume.
There's also a set of binaural beats (delta, theta, alpha) pitched at daytime focus rather than sleep. A voice-led breathing practice rounds out the wind-down routine.
Pick this one if you've ever been woken by a timer stopping mid-cycle. That one problem is what the whole app is built around.
