Twitch: Live Streaming

Twitch is where the internet watches things happen live. Gaming is the heart of it — esports tournaments, speedruns, casual playthroughs — but there's just as much music, talk shows, cooking, art, and "just chatting" streams. Everything is real-time, which means the chat scrolling past at a thousand messages a minute is half the show.

Following a channel notifies you the second it goes live, and subscribing supports the streamer directly while unlocking custom emotes. Clips let you capture the best 30 seconds of any broadcast and share it, and VODs mean you can catch up on anything you missed. Dark mode and a proper tablet layout make long viewing sessions easy on the eyes.

Why grab the APK here? If your phone or tablet can't access the Play Store, this is the official Twitch build (package tv.twitch.android.app, published by Twitch Interactive, Inc.). Log in with your existing account and your follows, subscriptions, and chat settings are all there.

App details: developer Twitch Interactive, Inc., category Entertainment. Free to download; subscriptions and Bits are optional in-app purchases.
