Gboard - the Google Keyboard

Gboard is the keyboard most Android phones ship with, and for good reason. Glide typing lets you slide your finger across letters instead of tapping, and the predictions are scarily good at finishing your sentences.

Voice typing has gotten remarkably accurate — you can dictate entire messages hands-free, complete with automatic punctuation. Emoji and GIF search means you never have to scroll through endless grids again.

The built-in Google Search button lets you look things up and share results without leaving your chat. Translate as you type is perfect for multilingual conversations.

Multilingual typing works seamlessly, switching between languages without changing settings. Themes and customization let you make it look the way you want.

It is fast, smart, and free — the rare default app that most people never feel the need to replace.
