ABC Kids - Tracing & Phonics

ABC Kids teaches toddlers the alphabet the way kids actually learn: by doing. Tracing games have children follow arrows with their finger to form each letter, phonics pairing links shapes to sounds, and matching exercises test what sticks. Both uppercase and lowercase letters are covered, and finishing games earns stickers and toys.

The design thinks about parents, not just kids. Menus tuck away from little fingers so toddlers can't accidentally exit, and adults can switch on Teacher Mode, check report cards, and toggle which games are active. Recent updates added a letter-sorting mode and an underwater bubble-popping alphabet adventure.

It's made for toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergartners — and built by RV AppStudios, who are parents themselves and refuse to put paywalls in kids' apps.

Best of all: it's completely free. No third-party ads, no in-app purchases, nothing interrupting learning. It's 104 MB, with over 67 million installs and a 4.5-star rating.
