About Us

What is APK01?

APK01 is a free directory for discovering and downloading Android apps. Every listing on this site is hand-checked: we verify the developer, confirm the package name, and publish the real file size before an app goes live.

Why APK01 exists

Finding a safe place to download Android apps outside the Play Store is harder than it should be. Many APK sites bundle their downloads with misleading buttons, fake "download" ads, or repackaged files. We built APK01 to be the opposite of that: one clean page per app, honest descriptions written by humans, and no tricks.

What we list

• Only legal, mainstream apps from verified developers — no mods, no cracks, no pirated content.
• Original descriptions. We never copy text from store listings.
• Real APK file sizes, checked against actual builds — never "varies with device".
• Official icons and screenshots for every app.

What we don't list

We do not publish gambling apps, adult content, piracy tools, downloaders, mod menus, or VPN apps. If an app can't run ads on a family-safe site, it doesn't belong here.

How we make money

APK01 is supported by advertising. Ads keep the site free, and they are the reason we hold every listing to a strict safety standard — anything that would put our ad accounts at risk never gets published.

Found a problem?

If you spot an incorrect listing, a dead link, or an app that shouldn't be here, please tell us through our contact page. We review every report.
